Willow Selby is an illustrator based in Oakland, CA who studied illustration at the California College of the Arts. She works with pencil, gouache, acrylic and collage to visually represent the way memories feel layered with overlapping images, textures and opacities.
The daughter of a passionate children’s librarian, Willow has had a lifelong love of children’s books. Growing up, books consistently offered a haven she could dream and escape within. As an adult she hopes to create this kind of haven for others.
