If you lost someone very close to you, would you still find them in little messages left behind? What if those messages added up to something capable of transporting you beyond grief - what if the messages were the key to your freedom?
This is the story of a girl’s obsession and determination that drive her to build something new out of loss. In doing so, she isn’t healed and her loss isn’t replaced, but she IS transformed.

This project began four years ago after thinking about cover songs. A good cover song is one artist's tribute to another, as the covering musician tries to capture and reflect the profound way that the original song hits them. In this collection of paintings, I wanted to create my own "covers" of poets and their words. I chose seven poets whose work deeply affected me and these paintings are the expression of my experience.
The book features the art (both close up and full page) as well as commentary provided by the artist in response to discussion questions that were asked by Reverend Michael LeMaire M Div, BCC.

This elegantly illustrated graphic novel shares Summer's experience living with adhd. Told from Summer's point of view, the reader is invited to share in the feelings and imagination that are so authentically portrayed throughout this special novel. Written, illustrated and co-created by a mother/child duo, this graphic novel is a delight.
